Greetings

You are two days away from one of those life changing events.  Many of you who have not travelled internationally will view the world in a different way when you return.  This trip can be anything that you decide it will be for you.  The experience will not be the same for everyone.  Of my trips all over Central America I have always come back as a more educated person with an experience that has shaped who I am today.

I remember Wind Ensemble tours in the States when I was in your position and it built close bonds within the group.  This will be something that you will share as a group for the rest of your life.  Enjoy the trip.  Take the music seriously and play with passion.  Most importantly, be safe and have fun!

  1. Have an amazing experience and enjoy the trip!

  2. Doug and I are having some problems getting him signed up for WordPress, but we’ve been on the case for two days now and hopefully are close to solving the problem. In the meantime, you can check out some of Doug’s comments under my last post, “Brazil tour brings back memories for Scherer and Smith.” Doug was able to leave a comment there, but isn’t yet able to post on his own.

    Thanks for reading!

  3. I’d like to see a comment/statement from Doug Adair!
