Among their instruments, WIU polo shirts, cameras, and sunscreen, the Wind Ensemble will have about twenty pieces of music packed in their Brazil-bound luggage. That’s an extraordinary number of pieces for a wind ensemble to take on a tour, but it’s all part of the band’s mission to over-prepare.  Yesterday, the group added three new pieces to its repertoire, including “United States of Brazil.”  Check out the photos and videos below for some sights and sounds from Sunday’s rehearsal.
